I will guide you step-by-step, covering essential safety measures, pouring techniques, and tips for maximizing your bath experience. Unlike melt and pour methods, making soap from scratch requires a four-week curing time to ensure all water has evaporated and your soap is ready for use.

Is this class suitable for beginners? I've never made soap before.

Yes! This hands on experience is perfect for beginners and experienced soap makers. I will be there to help you every step of the way so that you can safely and confidently make the soap that you'll be proud of.

Is there a dress code?

Yes.

When making soap from scratch, it is crucial that you dress for safety. Wear closed toed shoes, long sleeves and ensure that your legs are not exposed. Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is a key ingredient in making soap and should be handled safely to prevent burns.

Can I customize my soap with scents, colors, or additives?

Yes! That's what makes this experience so fun. You get to express your creativity by using 1 fragrance, 2 colors and 3 additives of your choice. It'll be one of a kind.

Will I be able to keep the soap I make?

Yes, of course! Your handcrafted soaps are yours to keep on one condition- you have to have a happy bath time while using them. :)
